Interior Douglas Fir is sourced from the dry interior regions of British Columbia, Canada, where slower growth results from lower precipitation and a harsher climate. Compared to larger Coastal Douglas Fir, it typically features tighter growth rings, smaller knots, and excellent dimensional stability.
